Ultrabatch

Ultrabatches are highly filled concentrates of inorganic or organic pigments dispersed in a specific carrier.

Kunststof-Kemi offers a broad selection of Ultrabatches covering the entire colour spectrum.

Depending on the application and quality demands we offer a wide range of possibilities.

At Kunststof-Kemi  our main focus is on polyolefines, PE and PP, styrenes, EVA and EMA. The last two being so-called universal carriers.

In addition to our present range, PA concentrates have been under development for a few years. Please see our present range in the Ultrabatch Selector.

Futhermore Kunststof-Kemi also has experience in more technical polymers, such as PET. Contact us for special products.

Ultrabatch - Masterbatch made easy - Advantages

Ultrabatch is primarily used in masterbatch production as an alternative to using pure pigment.

- Repeatability: as all pigments are predispersed, the quality of the masterbatch will be consistent from one
  production run to another.

- Flexibility: the colour stays the same even when different machine equipment is used.

- Speed: colour change is easy as Ultrabatch will not cling to the inner walls and hard to reach areas of the extruder
  like pigments.

- Cleaning is made easy at the mixing station and in the factory.

- Handling is also facilitated as no handling of problematic pigments is needed during mixing.

- Being predispersed, the Ultrabatch only needs to be mixed in a single screw extruder to manufacture colour
  masterbatch
